Quick Aside – Here are a bunch of bookmarks I’ve collected that may interest you…. MANY have suffered from Link Rot now 🙁
Mate,
The band I was telling you about on the phone today, that I interviewed on RPP back in the 90’s, have been yapping with me on Facebook about AUSTECH, Atari 1040ST’s and Notator. Turns out they are Eastern suburbs guys – Croydon and Wantirna. If you click on the Studio Photo (click the previous link then the subsequent photo) you’ll be able to read our chat comments….
The album they made (their debut) that really got my attention was “Don’t Bring the Rain” – the band was Aragon. They played Montsalvat but I didn’t know and missed the gig.
Some tracks are your taste, some not so much. Some energy and some peace.
I’d love you to listen to a bit of it, and look at the liner notes HERE if you get chance. I’ve noted below the tracks I reckon you may find interesting.
“The Crucifixion” is a 15 minute epic. One of the others follows a kind of “explore a motif” path, like we were doing with SB. I think that one was “Under the Hunter’s Moon“.
You can listen online at Bandcamp as well if you want to listen to any of this on the train. All of their albums are playable there.
If you like and want to download the purchased tracks, click the links below. I bought them to make a CD for the car.
- For Your Eyes
- Under the Hunter’s Moon
- In the Company of Wolves
- The Cradle (I think you’d like this one)
- Solstice
- Cry Out
- Gabrielle (You might like this one too)
- The Crucifixion
- For Your Eyes (Reprise)
Thanks for some lovely interaction today. We didn’t win them all but we got a lot done. Hope you like your template. Let me know if the Novation doesn’t control logic’s faders/mutes etc and I’ll revisit. I also think I have a solution to using the touch pad as a controller for pitch or whatever parameter you want it to control.
🙂
