Description
AAS modelled instruments are great. The patches are simple text files!
They have to be imported as banks though, so when you do, you’ll have a bank called 99 – NeilFloyd with the patch “Sheep” in it. It’s the best I could get with the feel because you need the soft, mellow sound, but also to get the biting sound with a bit of keyboard velocity.
TO IMPORT….. well you don’t. You copy the file you download to ~User/Library/Application Support/Applied Acoustics Systems/ Lounge Lizard EP-4/Banks
When you next launch LL4 you will see the bank and patch in your bank list, probably at the bottom.
UPDATE: (August 13, 2023)
The file was not appearing in my banks list in LL after doing a Lounge Lizard update. This may also impact LL Session users as it has to do with the FILE EXTENSION.
I’ve updated the extension on WordPress. That said, you may need to rename your extension after copying to your Banks folder.
OLD EXTENSION 99-NeilFloyd.ep-4-bank
NEW extension 99-NeilFloyd.EP-4 Bank
LL Session Extension 99-NeilFloyd.LLS4 Bank
I’ve only done this on the Mac, so you may need to consult Dr Google for instructions and locations on the PC version, but I’m sure the process will be similar.
You can download once and your link is valid for 14 days. It’s free, so easy enough to order again if you need to.
Enjoy – This is one of my favourite types of sound.
Cheers
Neil
